Appearance: White or nearly white powder.
Solubility: Poorly soluble in water, but has good solubility in some organic solvents, such as alcohol, ether, acetone, benzene, ethanol, etc.
Stability: Relatively stable under neutral and slightly acidic conditions, but prone to hydrolysis under alkaline conditions, leading to decomposition. Increasing pH, heating, or ultraviolet light exposure may accelerate its decomposition.

The bromine atoms and amide structures in the DBNPA molecule enable it to quickly penetrate the microbial cell membrane and inhibit the activity of metabolic enzymes. At low concentrations (20–40 ppm), it can effectively kill bacteria, fungi, algae, and other microorganisms within 10–30 minutes.

Good material compatibility
DBNPA is a non-oxidizing bactericide that will not corrode reverse osmosis membranes, such as polyamide membranes and PVDF membranes, ensuring the safety of membrane materials and promoting the long-term stable operation of water treatment systems.
