01 Glutaraldehyde Disinfection Effect

【Core Components and Pharmacological Actions】 Glutaraldehyde plays a crucial role as a key component in water disinfectants and bactericides. As a highly effective disinfectant and preservative, its bactericidal mechanism is unique: through alkylation, it denatures bacterial proteins, thereby interfering with the normal function of enzyme systems and nucleic acids, thus achieving a broad-spectrum and highly effective bactericidal effect.

【Functions and Uses】 Glutaraldehyde Biocide is widely used for water disinfection in aquaculture. It effectively prevents and treats bacterial diseases caused by pathogens such as Vibrio, Aeromonas hydrophila, and Edwardsiella tarda, ensuring the health of aquatic animals and maintaining the biosecurity of the aquaculture environment.

02 Usage Guidelines

【Precautions for Use】 When using Glutaraldehyde Biocide, the following safety operating procedures must be strictly followed: Do not mix with strong alkaline substances to avoid dangerous chemical reactions; use with caution in ponds with poor nutrient levels to avoid affecting efficacy; after application, ensure adequate dissolved oxygen in the water to maintain normal aquatic life activities; do not use metal containers to prevent corrosion; operators should wear gloves and masks to avoid direct contact between the agent and skin/mucous membranes.

【Usage Method and Dosage】 Before use, dilute glutaraldehyde with water 300 to 500 times. For general application throughout the pond, the therapeutic dose is 0.2 grams per cubic meter of water, applied every 2 to 3 days for 2 to 3 consecutive applications; for prevention, apply once every 15 days at a dose of 0.2 grams per cubic meter of water.

【Adverse Reactions and Specification Information】 No adverse reactions have been observed when this product is used according to the prescribed dosage and method. The product specification is 20% (g/g), the packaging specification is 1000g/bottle (12 bottles per carton), and the shelf life is 2 years.
